Wee Kirk O' the Heather Chapel in Las Vegas
Randy Wilson
Wee Kirk O’ the Heather is a las Vegas chapel that opened in 1940 and if not the earliest las Vegas wedding chapel on the Strip, it is one of the first. With a capacity for 26 guests, this location will not accommodate a huge wedding party. But it makes up in cozy intimacy what it lacks in grandiose pretension. The warm glow of soft lighting will make you feel right at home with your minister, the witness, and your beloved.
Services for this wedding chapel in las Vegas come in three packages to meet all client budgets and needs. All packages cover the cost of a wedding coordinator, the chapel fee, and a CD of the traditional wedding march. You may wish to compare the attractive theme of this site with those of other las Vegas wedding chapels.
The Lavender package costs $189 and includes a rose “keep forever” presentation bouquet. Of 24 professional photographs, the couples receive 4-4x6 and 1-5x7 to keep, along with a wedding scroll and a free gift. You don’t have many details to worry about with this package, and it may be considered one of the budget deals among las Vegas chapels.
You can opt for the Lilac plan at $289. This upgrade provides more photos, a larger keepsake floral arrangement (six roses instead of three), and 15 minutes in the dressing room, along with the aforementioned scroll and music.
For $389 you can get the Violet wedding package. This entitles the couple of a nine-rose floral keepsake, your choice of 48 photos from a wider selection, and a video recording of your ceremony. A candlelight service and first dance are added to this top-of-the-line plan.
Of course, you can always choose to bring your own flowers and music, although you will have to ask the coordinator how this will impact your fee or whether it does at all. The couple will need to plan the reception and honeymoon, although the wedding coordinator may be able to offer a few tips or help make connecting arrangements.
It’s always a good idea to shop several services before booking your wedding. Plan well in advance of the event if possible to make sure you get the service you want on your preferred date and time slot. You may want to make a list of things to do and check beforehand so you don’t forget anything for your special day. You can visit this chapel online at Wee Kirk O’ the Heather.
